Thanks to the excellence cluster (DFG) e-conversion for awarding our PhD student Ms. Yicui Kang with the student exchange program to visit the group of our collaborator Prof. Min Liu at Central South University in Changsha, China. Here some pics from Yicui with her lab mates in China!

CLEO Europe in Munich. Emi was speaking at the “Photonics for Sustainability” symposium, organized by Giulia Tagliabue (EPFL) and Esther Alarcon-Llado (AMOLF). Also hosting and touring with friends and colleagues in Munich these days!

The fourth edition of DINAMO was outstanding! Emi was presenting the group’s latest results and Simone was presenting a poster with a summary of her PhD thesis.

The 2023 Gordon Conference on Plasmonically Powered Processes: “Plasmonic Control of Photons, Charges and Phonons” in Ventura, USA was really great! Chairs: Jianfang Wang & Suljo Linic. Emi was presenting the latest results on optimization of plasmonic catalysts, from single particle to metasurfaces.

Emi was elected vice-Chair of the 2025 edition and Chair of the 2027 edition of the Gordon Conference on Plasmonically Powered Processes! Thanks all the participants for the support and election!
